Tahiti Airport

You’ll feel the excitement building the minute you arrive at Tahiti’s capital city Papeete, home of Tahiti’s airport. There is only one main airport in Tahiti and that’s the International Faaá which is managed by the Setil Airport Company. The airport has a gift shop with full amenities, including money exchange services. There is also an authentic market near the terminal that sells hand-made Polynesian arts and crafts.

Air Tahiti Nui and Air Tahiti operate out of the international terminal. Air Moorea is another Tahiti airline and is located close to the Tahiti Airport Lodge. There are many ways you can travel between the international airport and the town of Papeete, including transport from the Le Truck stop or by taxi.

There are maps that cover Papeete to Tahiti airport as well as general maps of Tahiti. Papeete airport does not have jet ways, so passengers need to be fairly mobile.
